WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a Semi Permanent Make-Up (tattoo) that is designed to give the appearance of fuller and natural looking eyebrows.
It replicates hair strokes using a hand held microblade tool. The microblade has several very fine needles that create a blade. The blade passes (with lightweight procession) across the outer layer of skin (Epidermis) creating an opening in the skin (where the Dermis and Epidermis meets) and embeds the pigment into the new hair stroke. This is built up to create fine and realistic looking eyebrows.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Please allow 2.5 – 3 hours for your Microblading appointment. Top ups vary between 1 – 1.5 hour dependent on aftercare.
On arrival at the Studio you will undergo a consultation. Here we will discuss your likes and dislikes, colour, thickness and fullness and map out the shape. As this is a natural looking technique please do not expect to go darker than your natural colour by more than one shade as it will not blend with your hairs. The overall impact of fuller brows will make them appear much darker. Remember this is on your face for 12-18 months (dependent on skin type and life style factors) before fading so feel comfortable to say you would like them smaller or wider etc.
Once you are happy with the shape and positioning, we will pluck any stray hairs to help define the final look and then we will start the microblading. It is important to understand the microblading delivers a different look to Powder and Ombre style eyebrows.

WHAT IS PHIBROWS MICROBLADING?
PhiBrows Microblading is a hyperrealistic technique of drawing eyebrows manually (using microblading). PhiBrows is one of the most popular beauty treatments today thanks to the range of benefits it provides to the clients. Our eyebrows are also a powerful weapon in nonverbal communication. With their color, shape, and position on the face, our eyebrows give a positive and strong character to the person who wears them. In addition to character, properly drawn eyebrows make a person undoubtedly more attractive.
Besides saving you time for drawing eyebrows every day, PhiBrows Microblading treatment has a strong impact on self-esteem in various situations when the make-up can be erased. In the rain, at the seaside, during exercising: clients who use PhiBrows Microblading technique never have to fear that their makeup will melt off. With only one treatment, clients get eyebrows that last between one and two years.
The true essence of PhiBrows Microblading treatment is that the design in this procedure is obtained by using the golden ratio. The golden ratio represents a proportion that already exists in the design of all living forms on the planet. The proportion is the ratio of two sizes or lengths, and in this case, it is 1: 1.618. This proportion is also called Divine proportion, and the objects and forms that have it are perceived as something beautiful. In mathematics and art, the number 1,618 is known as the Greek letter Phi, which is why this treatment was named PhiBrows, or eyebrows drawn by a divine design.

I care about the well-being and safety of my clients and ask for their honesty in completing their medical information accurately on the Consent Form. Failure to do so can impact your health and overall result (some medical issues carry a high risk of infection or poor retention).

Aftercare plays an important role in the healing and retention of your microblading. Failure to follow the aftercare advise can cause infection, patchy brows and require additional Top Ups. Brows must not get wet for the first 10 days. You must NOT apply any products on the brow area other than the items given to you for your Aftercare during the first 14 days.
Dependent on your skin type, lifestyle and Aftercare, Microblading typically lasts between 12-18 months a before an annual booster is required to refresh your brows. If you were to leave your brows to fade completely it may be between 2-3 years. However, there are factors that play a role in your retention such as your skin type, lifestyle and how well you follow your Aftercare. Your Artist has no control over these factors and cannot be held liable for poor retention.
Following your initial Microblading treatment you will be advised to undertake a 4-6 week top up. This is important to ensure all strokes have retained the pigment from root to tip. Some individuals may require more than one 4-6 week top up due to their skin/pores, lifestyle or from poor Aftercare. All Top Up appointments are chargeable.
⇒ Migration of pigment- this where the pigment travels under the surface of the skin and the crisp stroke is lost. Oilier skins are more prone to migration which is why very oily skins can not have microblading
⇒ Infection- It is important to follow the Aftercare instructions fully to reduce the risk of infection. The minute you step outside the studio you are no longer in a secure environment. Do not get them wet for the first 14 days and refrain from putting makeup or other products other than the items from your Aftercare package
⇒ Loss of pigment / Poor Retention- This can be due to skin retention or poor aftercare.
⇒ Scarring- Microblading should not leave you with scarring when performed correctly and at the correct depth. If you are prone to scarring, you must make it known before your appointment as breaking the first layer of skin may leave a scar
